ANGELINA KWAN (she/her) is an NYC-based student and artist from Queens, New York, studying as a dance major at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School, class of 2025. Angelina previously trained at The School of American Ballet and is currently a Recanati-Kaplan Excellence in the Arts Merit Dance Scholar since 2019. Angelina is proud to be a Founder and the Editor of The Sinatra Arts Journal Newspaper at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School, with the goal of providing a platform for artists to express themselves and share words of advice in the arts, even if cliché. Angelina carries on her love for writing and dance as the Assistant to Administrative Associate, Paige Barnett Kulbeth, for MeenMoves. Some of her notable performances include the dance ensemble performance at The Bessie Awards 2023 with Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance, George Balanchine’s Nutcracker at Lincoln Center, and being the Co-Choreographer alongside Recanati-Kaplan Dance Scholar, Jesse Uppal, for the Young Voices election piece with the MeenMoves 2024 Moving the Ballot Performance.
